My wild friends at the park. They probably hoped I had food, but I was just simply shaking their hands in greeting.

Right after I took this, a very old native Indian lady came along, with a guy walking behind her carrying her huge bags full of food. The lady fed the raccoons (there were about 15 of them) a meal of 3 courses, (bread and cheese appetizer, then some weird looking food I cannot quite place, and Oreo cookies for dessert). And she was talking to me the whole time, half in English and half in her own language, telling me all about how she talks with and feeds the animals everywhere she goes, and how much she loves her friends and family (the herons, raccoons, bears, squirrels, swans, eagles, ect.)... She was a lovely old woman. :)
