Porto Cervo is an Italian seaside resort in northern Sardinia. It is a frazione of the comune of Arzachena, in the province of Olbia-Tempio. The village is the main centre of the Costa Smeralda, on the gulf of the same name. It was created by Prince Karim Aga Khan. Porto Cervo has a resident population of less than 200 inhabitants.

Situated in our backyard garden is a heaven of clementine trees. Georgie loves to pick them.

The house of my namesake grandfather in my village in the North of Lebanon - called Kfarahata el Koura.

The house is said to be more than 100 years old and has been recently renovated from the inside maintaining its history.

The stairs were the first of their kind in the region to be structured this way.

While I was exploring the historic gardens of the villa; i came across a 600-year-old plane tree that completely took center stage. It is believed to be among the oldest in Lombardy and over the centuries kings, queens, cardinals, empresses, aristocrats and heads of state have sat in its shade.
