These don't really reflect anything all that interesting. Hopefully that'll change when I hang more art.

Lol, anna*lyssa, I think I would cry if my kitchen was in a closet! The kitchen is a separate room, and really quite large given the overall size of the apartment. I think it looks like it's a closet in this photo because of the slanted ceiling.

salazar, I kept thinking the same thing when I first put them up. I'd see it out of the corner of my eye and think "is there a shelf here I never noticed.... oh, wait, no, nevermind." It's was really weird.

It's the Sloane Desk from Crate & Barrel (an older version, the one they have now is slightly different). I found it on craigslist for $60.
