Feeding

Each and every numerous festival, rich familly organise food distribution. Big organisation, they feed who ever… They say feeding other people is the first way to serve God, and one should alway share his food, never eat alone… something important in hindouism.

true! even in the death dates of their ancestors, people serve food to the Brahmins and to cows, crows etc.

Yes saanidhya, I've been to a few "bandhara" at the time of "pitr paksha", the fortnight of the ancestors", one had more than thousand people, all kind of people : Brahmins, sadhu, neighbour, workers… Unfortunately at that time I had a very basic camera, just did a few pictures of the pot -huge pots- and all the women who were peeling mountains of vegetable… Great great time I had !
