    I just read an article online about it being abandoned now. It has been vandalized since, and the last owners had all the trees cut down in the yard. The yard is now tall weeds.

      I know that the new owner is asking anyone with photos of the (original) interior e-mail her the photos. I believe she wants to get it back to the beauty it originally was. Here's her post from another Flicr photo;
      "OK People, I don't know any of you but I can tell we all share the same affection for this beautiful house. My name is Heidi and I purchased it about a month ago. I've moved myself and my 5 year old daughter into the second floor. Someone mentioned having pictures of the house from years past and I would like the opportunity to get ahold of those. I'm trying to restore some of the original fixtures that have disappeared over the years. As for the house being trashed....the previous owners (Browns) did a lot of work trying to rescue this house. They replaced all the wiring, plumbing and even insulated it. Yes, they even repainted it from the tacky pink color it once was. I have big plans for this beautiful place including mending the weathervane that was ripped off during the insane weather we had a couple weeks ago. The roof will not be tens of thousands, but will be replaced. Please email me at heidil1000@gmail.com if you have any interior photos or more historical info on the house. Thanks, Heidi"

      I grew up in that house and was recently told that the people who own it now destroyed the insides.
