train depot

It's defunct but not abandoned. I scouted this place a while back. Waited till it got dark when the intendant turned on the light, for I thought it yielded more depth and matched the chosen perspective nicely. The cost of this photo was 9 mosquito bumps, a relatively small price to pay.

I thought it had potential for adding to my growing body of works of urban landscape, so I returned for more last week, but sadly it was totally locked up with wire fence. What a waste.

I love how the roof fans out across the format. I am glad you got to shoot while you had the chance.

thanks everyone for the feedbacks. Wish I could get in before its demolition.

yes, that tunnel perspective with a light in the background is great. Honestly, I would prefer a more centered and symmetrical composition though, but I know it's locked up...

Can you take me to places like this for my next visit to Taiwan?? :-)
