Lightning Across the Sky
A very heavy thunderstorm, or at least it was heavy compared to what we're used to in this town, rolled in over us today after a fantastic summer day.
I ran out on the balcony and spent over an hour, just waiting patiently for the flashes to appear over the panoramic skyline I can see from my house. I'm quite pleased with the results.
Not quite so pleased with all the moscito bites I also got as an added bonus...

Keytar Hero
Who says the French can't do a rock'n roll pose?
Jean Michel Jarre is seen playing a keyboard not even released on the market yet before disappearing the way he entered the stage. Through the smoke.
I really, really love this one. It has a wonderful analogue grainy feel to it. Just like a concert photo should have. :)
Background:
Jean Michel Jarre gave a concert on the 13th of May, 2009, in Oslo Spektrum during his in-doors tour.
Not only did I manage to get a photo pass, I also got to meet and interview him for 45 minutes after the concert.
It's a personal highlight for me so far in my journalistic career. I've admired him and his music since I was very young. I've met quite a few famous people in my time (I'm not going to name drop), but this is the only time such a meeting really brought out the fanboy in me. :)

Laser Harp
Jean Michel Jarre playing what is arguably his most famous instrument. The laser harp really works (I watched him play it during the sound check) and Oslo was the first night it functioned properly.
I am really happy with this one, especially the reflection in his sunglasses.
