121/365 - What's in YOUR wallet...?

121/365 - What's in YOUR wallet...? by ElbtheProf.
My poor Mum found that her purse and keys had been stolen this morning, and has had to go through the ordeal of cancelling all her cards as well as getting the locks changed.

It made me think though, about what I'd do if the same thing happened to me. I decided to make a list of all the cards in my wallet and card holder to keep with my bank details in a file at home, so that if the worst should occur, I would have all the information to hand. I never realised quite how many cards I had!

...And of course, it made a handy subject for today's photo! :-D

Your poor Mum! Have you considered photocopying your cards all at once so you have the information on one easy-to-use sheet? Then, of course, keep that sheet under lock-and-key. The fanned cards do make a nice photo, however.

I've got WAY too many "loyalty cards", I can tell you that!!!
namely, I am 'loyal' to:
Kroger
Randall's
Petco
Petsmart
Best Buy
Zales
CVS pharmacy
Office Depot
Clear Lake Auto Service

as far as credit cards, I only have two:
Shell gas card (they are bleedin' me dry)
VISA debit/credit card

miscellaneous:
Blockbuster movie rental card (haven't used in probably 3 years)
library card
an AMC movie theater gift card I got about two years ago...
FIVE different insurance cards (medical, dental, vision, and one for each of my kids)

TX driver's license
postage stamps
employee ID card
and lots of business cards (mostly from doctors)

Maybe I'll take a photo, but I have no 'fuzzy-out-the-numbers' photo-shopping-like capability, so that makes me kinda nervous.

It took me ages arranging things so there were no incriminating details on view, then what do I do? Put a credit card slap bang on top, hence the smudgy-out bits! Simple answer is to put a loyalty card on top!
