      But I have to second previous question asked - is there gluten in a normal pesto recipe?

      Thanks for the great comments and inquiry!

      In general pesto made from scratch probably wouldn't contain gluten -- just nuts, olive oil, garlic and some type of greens. However, pesto purchased from a store could potentially contain gluten as it hides out in many processed foods and is often found in the most unexpected places.
