Project 365 - Photo #16

Project 365 - Photo #16 by Elabeth.
I made all of these scarves. They live in the coat closet, and they don't get out as often as they should. I need to remember to grab one once in a while.
Left to right, they are:
-Drop Stitch Scarf made with Trendsetter Segue ribbon yarn
-Branching Out from Knitty made with Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece
-K1P1 Rib Scarf made with Lion Brand Landscapes mostly on my vacation last summer in Colorado when I accidently left the knitting at home and had to find a WalMart in the middle of the night because I was seriously freaking out without the knitting.
-Feather & Fan Scarf made with Noro Kereyon
-My So-Called Scarf made with Manos
-Crochet Scarf from the SNB Crochet book made with Wool Ease

Is it just a little dorky of me to say that when I see knitting pictures on Project 365 it gets me happy?? I love it!

Very impressed with the knitting and the photo.

I love the color and stitch on the Manos yarn! Have you tried Malabrigo yet? It's also Uruguayan kettle-dyed merino, but cheaper. You should add this to the Knits from Knitty pool!

I did my Branching Out in Silky Wool:

When I see all this great stuff, I feel like should really knit too. I remember I asked my mom to teach it to me when I was a kid and she gave me a funny look I think.

I bet you have to be really experienced already to make cool scarves like this though.

Kimberly, I don't think that's dorky at all! I always clickon any yarn or knitting or spinning related pictures I see in project 365 too :)

Anikarenina, I have anoter pic somewhere in the stream of just the branching out. I will hunt it down and stick it in that stream. The other stuff isn't from knitty so they might not want it in there. I've seen the Malabrigo, but I haven't tried any yet. I still have three more skeins of Manos in the stash.

Nils, I made most of those within the first 6 months I was knitting. You could be cranking out fancy scarves in no time. Check out www.knittinghelp.com to learn the basic stitches then just go nuts with it. :)
