learning new habits (4/365.2)

    because i need a new one like i need a hole in my head...

    just hemming a few handkerchiefs...so far.

    (a little history: it took me 2.5 years after i bought this sewing machine to finally use it. sheesh.)

      Excellent! (my sewing machine - passed on to me by my dad - sat in storage for about five years before I finally used it!)

      I guess the sewing machine was just like any part of a crafting stash...waiting quietly until the mood strikes you. Show us the hankies when you're done!

      I've had mine for a while, and we're still not buds. But I like to think I'm coming around. :)

      : they got done pretty quickly-- had to hem only two sides of each handkerchief. photo here

      : we'll see if i can first reclaim the machine back from mr. yum (he's actually the primary sew-er in the family now) then i'll let you know how our relationship is going. :)
