Texting (27 Jan 10)

    One of the things I like about the cell phone camera is I can take shots without anybody noticing. Pull out the SLR and most see it aiming their way. Cell phone camera though... who pays attention to cell phones any more?

    Certainly not this intently texting pair sitting across from me on a Muni streetcar. Nothing broke through their attention to their own phones, thumbs-a-wagging.

      Thanks for the comments. When I had to upgrade (old model losing it after 4 years) I chose not for texting or web, but for pictures. The Sony Ericsson c905 model has/had the best rated camera at a price I could afford and it does a pretty good job. As a phone though, the interface is poorly designed and made worse by ATT's hobbling of built-in services so it can charge for same. Caveat emptor, as they say.
