Look through my Life
Rawalpindi Saddar. Shot early this month. And I felt so annoyed by the flirtatious electric cables roaming all over the place, I had to document this. The cars, people and rickshaws are there to signify the life's moving despite such shameful and degrading environment to live in. It's not just Rawalpindi that exhibits such depravity of conscience and administrative bankruptcy but is prevalent in almost every city of Pakistan. The years of silence against corrupt administration and a degraded self-lowering behavior has led to complete acceptance of every immoral and bad thing in the society.
CommentsTan-Afridi says:What you are saying is NOT represented by the
picture in a true sence. The street look
clean , the road is shining, and the electric
wire are few compare to one gunjal you see in
Dhok Khaba. mina_artist [deleted] says:Ejaz i am agree with you what you are saying
about environment. I have been to Sadar
bazar and Raja bazar it needs alot of
attention especially the health and safety.
Ask the governement where the money
goes????hmmmm..........But i still love
Pakistan i spent my childhood there.

GangaSunshine says:I like to hear what you feel about these
places because they are so foreign to me and
I wonder what is happening on the other side
of the world and what you feel when you live
your life. I like the way you took this
picture too. It reminds me of the 70's in
Alberta.

picture looks awesome to me :P
Flos Carmeli says:u made 'pindi look mystical... kit_mal says:it's an amazing picture... i don't think the
wiring is the face of corruption as your
putting it.. it's just a lack of care... or
lack of planning which is very commonly seen
in our country. They fail to plan out the
wiring system. Illegal connections made
etc... then old wires left dangling... and
that the general public are just not bothered
about it...
abhigya_shukla says:Indeed, u shot it with another perspective,
but its the picture that caught my attention
the most on this page- rustic, busy, true to
the core.
Edge of Space says:thanks guys :)
