stunning - I have never tried to photograph lightning before, is there any special trick to it or do you just have to try taking dozens of pics till you get a good one like this?

sat out on the balcony for an hour , snapping away - 15 sec exposures at a time in the general direction of the lightning - think I managed 125 frames (thank goodness for digital) giving 9 half-decent shots, but this was the best.
