Take out your mobile.
Dial *145* [the number posted on the vending machine *the amount#
The system returns a message on your phone asking for a pin code.
Enter your pin code.
Rhe system debits your bank account and returns a transaction record, along with a vendor message such as "Apple with cherry: Good choice!" or even "Would you like chips with that? See the machine to
your left for a 5-percent discount."

The service is called MPay, affiliated with a Polish Internet service provider called ATM. (no relation to the cash machine)

	marekf [deleted] says: Funny. I live in Warsaw and never heard about pay-with-your-phone vending machines in Poland. mPay doesn't seem to be too popular although it's quite old (3+ years) from what I can read on their web site (www.mpay.pl). Posted 20 months ago. ( permalink )
