The composter holds 10 cubic feet = 74 gallons worth of food wastes. Even though it is only 1/3 full or so in this picture, it is starting to get heavy and difficult to tumble. I may close out this batch soon if it gets too difficult to tumble. I'll just let it finish composting, and then store it somewhere when it is done (about 120 days). Meanwhile, I'll collect the new food wastes in a spare garbage can we had lying around.
