   i must contradict Jaska3 --i find nothing bizarre about this image. in fact, there's a very nice harmony of line/geometric forms here. my only possible critique is that the bottom of the frame (perhaps) cuts the bottom of the beer glass a bit too closely. otherwise: lovely color and nice blurring effect.

   it was quite hard lining up:

   the glass on the bottom
   and the hand diagonally into the bottom left corner
   and the line of the bar bottom right

   handheld at night in low light at 100 speed 2 speed exposure. the non metered non slit image prism helped.

    to know how to do these took me 18 months of study on the www.

    now i only aerage 12 photos a day but i used to do 1000-4000 digital ones until i broke my canon eos 350d. 99.99% were rubbish.

    regarding the number of people in your photos: more bottles than people - what is wrong with that?
    Again nicely done with the dof. The colours are desaturated, aren't they? I like that.

    maybe 3% max desaturation. the expired film just does the colours it feels like. it does them better than me so i leave it to it.
