Bulow Plantation Ruins
This Plantation north of Ormond Beach was built out of coquina starting in 1821 and was thriving in 1831 when John James Audubon visited. It was burned by Seminole Indians in 1836 during the Second Seminole War. The walls and chimneys of the sugar mill on the site remain standing today.
