Jefferson, Exterior (Contact Sheet)

For those of you who are interested, this is the raw pictures I took, which I painstakingly put together in the final result.

When you compare the two, you can see that I cut out the bottom row and I there is very little sky at the top.

I cut out the bottom row because without it I could make a piece with clean proportions of 1:2. Looking ahead, I could also split it into 3 vertical triptychs with ratios of 2:3. I was okay with it, because even though I would lose the lights and shadows that arched across the bottom, those details were less interesting in comparison to the work as a whole.
