Comet Lulin visits Beehive Cluster on 3/4/09 (and closer next two nights)
The minor planet Euterpe (27) can be seen to the left of "M44" label, above red " ^ ", Magnitude 9.7 = dim
50mm lens, cropped using about 40% of frame, 30 second exposure.
Star magnitude range from 4.0 to 10, north= up. Light pollution greater in lower right.
Clouds cleared around 3am, comet was only 23º above valley lights (Los Angeles).
