Mantoo

My guide made me taste Mantoo while I was wandering in the streets of Chitral Bazaar. I did not know what Mantoo was. He explained that it is basically a Chinese dish which is made from flour filled with minced meat, and is then cooked on water steam. Simple, light and No Oil.

Apart from wandering into the streets, observing people and nature, the best part of my traveling is food. I Love to try different foods. Mantoo had become my favorite during my visit to the Hindukash and Karakoram Range.

I encountered this Truck Driver on my way to the Chillam Valley and Deosai. He offered me a ride after I took some of his photos. That was my first time I rode a Pakistani Truck, truly customized and awesome.
