Blackberry![]() www.twitter.com/ecstaticist/ <-- I tweet when I post on flickr.
View larger | original | My top 100 Verity and I had a wonderful walk through Cuthbert Holmes Park today. I used to wheel her through in the stroller and snap photos of her refracted through dewdrops. Then, the next year we went blackberry picking and she ate too many. This summer she is almost four and remembers the blackberries. She even picked a few unripe ones today. I explained they would not be ripe untill the Fall. She gently closed her hand told me she would hold them until then. Later I convinced her an even better outcome would be to plant them so they would grow into a whole bush of new blackberries next year, and she agreed and did so. The tradition is safe for next year now as well. This blackberry blossom is about one inch across. Processed from a single RAW file. Converted to Black and White using the infrared filter setting in Photoshop's Black and White conversion utility. CommentsAntonio Di Maria
