Southern Alberta railroad tracks under blue skies. We stopped to give V a break. She is 2.5 yrs and riding in the car for endless hours is getting pretty old, so we try to let her out when we can. This provides Dad with the opportunity to find the nearest subject.

On our trip to Iceland, M.Geven and I talked about a lot of aspects of photography. We both agreed that doing a good and interesting landscape is one of the hardest things to capture right and we ended up accepting that we just don't see it. We stopped several times 'doing landscapes' but were never satisfied with the results. You got to have an eye for it. This wonderful shot is a perfect example of that. A seemingly 'normal' everyday view, made extremely beautiful by the angle, the skills and the eye of the photographer. You certainly DO see it, my friend!!
