Thanks for a Great Year!
2007 was a very fun and rewarding year for me here on flickr. I have met so many people and learned so much about photography and art. It has been a real joy to share with you all. I sold my first photo this year, and another image of mine was used on the United Nations Commission for Biodiversity holiday greeting card. There has been controversy this year with flickr's clumsy roll-out of censorship tools. I left for a month because of that mess, but my oldest flickr friend David Lev showed me it was a waste to quit. Thanks again, David. There has been an engagement between two of flickr's finest...lots of interesting storylines and experiences shared.
Thanks especially to the "Midnight PST Crew" You know who you are. So many laughs!
See you all in 2008! I am off to Saltspring Island and will be offline when the calendar clicks over.

Thanks for your visit. Gear? That was with my Sony A 100 with the Micro 52mm lens, taken wide open at 2,8 at 1/1000. Had I thought I would have taken it stopped down a bit, and slower. It was the darkest of 3 bracketed. The others tended to be a bit blinded by the sun.
