Photo theft

Photo theft by Eclipse Pics (∆ncient).
Some rat bastard stole my photo for use in this commercial publication.

Note how they cropped out my copyright notice.

Man, that pisses me off and it wasn't even my photo. Any leads to getting this particular instance resolved?

The ad is running on Facebook. I registered a complaint with Facebook, but haven't heard anything other than a very generic reply to my initial complaint.

I might end up trying that. Predictably, I haven't heard word one back Facebook after submitting my complaint.

I finally hear from Facebook. They claim to have pulled the ad, but claim their agreements with advertisers won't let them tell me anything about the company that stole my work. In my claim form however, it stated that they routinely gave all the contact data on those making the claim to the copyright violators.

Yet another reason why I generally don't post photos to Facebook.
