Dreaming of Spring by eclectic echoes.
Actually a shot taken in November. An unknown species Queen butterfly (Danaus gilippus) taken at the "Butterfly Ranch" gardens in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Hopefully I will get back to the Butterfly Ranch sometime this year or next. It is a great place in Fredericksburg Texas, open until late September with many species of butterfly there flying around a large garden that caters directly to them. The garden is all native species or non-invasive species that can thrive in the natural conditions there. Great place. My son was in heaven following all the butters around. Even though this was late in the season there must have been at least 100 there.
