Fly Air New Zealand

Fly Air New Zealand by AndrewNZ.
Come to our country and participate in dangerous sporting activities.

Actually, I wonder if Air New Zealand know that their advert is buried on a street which didn't seem to get much passing traffic?

Err. That wallside ad just ensures I will never fly Air New Zealand. Sorry AirNZ - going over a cliff seems to me to be kinda like courting death. And if that's what you want your customers to feel as they walk down the ramp to enter your plane? Then, well, just forget it. I'll walk. Or something.

Yes... seems to have the subliminal message of, "Fly with us across the Pacific for 12 hours and we'll try not to ditch into the ocean."

Eyecatching, yes. Good advert for visiting New Zealand, possibly for some. Attracts me to fly Air New Zealand, not really. Except that I think they're the only airline to fly direct from San Francisco, and most sane people will do (almost) anything to avoid LA airport.

Okay, really though? Yeah. Ummm. Yeah. SFO seems like a breath of fresh air in comparison. Or the neat little outpost of Oakland airport on the other side of the bay.

And then, well, try Edmonton's airport where you don't have warnings to move your car, keep moving, keep moving, and there's a copcar - single - way down there, no one in it though, and you're startled cuz you're expecting crazy airport pressure and there isn't any.

Yes, there's something about an image of a plummeting vessel that doesn't instill confidence in an airline.

Ugh, I didn't like SFO from what I remember. It reminded me of GRR (my city's airport) and my city is small-ish, with a dinky airport. Or maybe I was just crabby because I had to sit there for a few hours waiting for a delayed plane.

Oddly enough, I like O'hare. Crazy, yes, but I am a big city girl who likes big, busy airports. Total type A, that's me.

As for the kayaker, he looks like he is willingly going over the side. I think he has total confidence in Air New Zealand! Or at least in his kayak.
