Hey Emil - next time you do a panorama - try
a trick learned from KC. Use a tripod, mount
camera in landscape orientation, tilt
clockwise until upper left corner of frame is
at 12 o"clock position and lower right
corner of frame is at 6 o'clock position.
Pan in 10-15 degree angles of rotation and
take probably30-40 shots in 180 degrees.
Scan KC's stream and I am sure you will find
one. The result is you maintain a good
vertical height and the overlaps are such
that your eye doesn't see them. ...I have
plans to use it at the trocadero at dawn on
midsummer (if sun is around!)
I do remember him doing that. I even thought
about it when I was taking these shots, but I
didn't have my tripod with me. Thank you for
reminding me, I'll definitely remember to try
it next time!
