something cooling

something cooling by eatzycath.
white fungus and papaya double-boiled with a bit of rock sugar makes this drink cum dessert very refreshing and great for clearing body heat - and on top of it, papaya is good for the complexion (yeah... still very vain) and has plenty of carotenoids and lycopene!

I remember when I first had this, and the lady with me was telling me how it was "good for skin". I'm not a fan of papaya but I said I'd try it anyway and it was surprising good. The version I had was in a restaurant in Hong Kong, and they'd sliced small papayas lengthwise to make little bowls for the dessert.

haha... didn't know that piece of info, but u r probably right since it contains lycopene which is the same thing in tomatoes (and I have definitely read somewhere that tomatoes do the same thing against prostate cancer)!
