shedding

it has started... I run my fingers thru' my hair and strands just fall away... I sit quietly and shed hair like a golden retriever... there's hair in my bathtub, hair on the sofa, hair on the floor... today, I discovered hair in my breakfast... this will not do...

to the hairdresser I went... and now I'm as light-headed as I ever will be :-)

hi maddy... hair-loss is a common side-effect of chemotherapy, which I have just recently started after being diagnosed with breast cancer... it's just one of those things that happens.... but I'm OK... good thing I have a nice-looking scalp :-P

that is true (about the bad hair days) ... not so sure about the 'sexy' though, haven't quite gone full commando in public as yet (have been making do with hats, caps or wig) - not sure whether the look is G.I. Jane or maybe more akin to an Emei nun! LOLZ

Cancer are getting common place in the society these days.....Do not fret. I can see that you are taking it in your stride which is very good.

Drink lots of fresh fruit juice and rest more. You will get over it soon. Also, regarding the hair part, it will come back thicker and healthier. So do not fret.

that's what my doc said about the hair as well... I'm holding him to that promise!! thanks :-))

I hope you are doing well and you certainly have the right attitude. I also just want to say that this is a GREAT photo! I like the way the hair strands are sharp in the foreground while you pushed the sinkhole to the upper left corner. Very nice composition and certainly a sign of a person who always manages to see the bright side of anything! Take care.
