those moments of happiness. those days in the sun. those months that seem such a lifetime ago. the day when i can't meet your eye; the day where neither of us seem to know what to say. the day where we both stand around, scrabbling for stuff to say - an uninspirational game of scrabble. a day where i hide from the truth and you ask me a question which cuts deep, leaving me with no answer. a day i wish to end. a day i'd care to forget. a day where in defiance we both said things we shouldn't. but they hurt because we said them.

because even though we stood so close, the distance between us has never seemed so far.
