Snow and Socrates

Snow and Socrates by Earl - What I Saw 2.0.

Our cat, Socrates (So-crates, like in the movie "Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure") sitting on the bookshelf in our home office, watching the snow fall.

I want to enter this in our county fair amateur photo competition next week - I think it's worth a shot, and it will be fun to see what happens! (Plus he's a very good cat, and it will be some publicity for him . . . !)

NOTE: It ended up winning First Place in the B/W Animal Category. Pretty nice!

Hi Disco! He probably wants to go out, but we don't let him. He's a rescue cat, and part of the deal was that we had to let him keep his claws and keep him inside all of the time, too. A little tough on the furniture some times, but he's worth it!

Hi Dom! He's a recue cat - we got him when he was about 7 months or so old. I wonder what he's thinking, sometimes, but I guess everyone does. He may have been a stray, or had some kind of tough life, I don't know. I thiink he's got it pretty good inside with us, though!
