    my 1st lightpainting try, using some cheapo LED maglite-knockoff with red color gel.
    The red doesnt seem to glow. Guess im doin it wrong

      Good job there. Smaller things are easier to light. Ideal for experimenting. :)
      Fixing the gel in place can be quite troublesome, especially when you want to change colours with one light source within that 30 sec window.
      One easy way to get red without gel is to simply cover the light source with your finger.

      it was frustrating at 1st, but it gets fun later on.

      i think i got carried away by playing too many swirls. got some feedbacks that i should reduce the swirl to match her wavy hair.
      what i did was i use white led light to get proper expose of her face, then put some red film/gell on the light and do some swirl.
      will try more w/ other object in future.

      Agreed with the wavy bit. It's too much fun doing all that twirling. XD
      Might want to add side/top rimlight on the figure to seperate it more from BG.
      Looks like you're using a 3-led flashlight. Clean lines there. Keep up the good work. :)
