Out, out damn beer!

Remember that new cellphone I mentioned a few photos previous? Well, I dropped it in a beer. The worst part? I wasn't even drunk, and the beer was kind of flat.

Last night all it would do was vibrate as soon as I put the battery back in. This morning, signs of life returned, as it will make and receive calls, and I believe it will even still take a photo. But the display is totally dead.

It's currently resting quietly on a windowsill. I'm hoping some sun and fresh air will revive the screen.

Here's hoping that wasn't a $229 beer.

Really, when you consider all the beers I've had, and all the various gadgets and etc. I've owned over the last 10 years or so, it's amazing this is the first thing I've actually dropped into a beer.

Of course, I've dropped loads of beers on myself. But that's another story for another day.

The display is still dead. I went to the T-Mobile store this afternoon, and I nearly got a replacement with no questions asked, except, of course, they were out of stock. How does a store that only sells cell phones run out of cell phones?

Surely the next store I try I'll get a nosey sales associate and I'll end up having to pay for another.
