I've been using Adobe Lightroom to process many many many jewelry shots for a client. (I'll post some samples when I'm done)

I'm impressed with the functionality and useability of the app. I processed 95% of the shots without using Photoshop at all.

Hope it's a bit faster when it's out of Beta.

The Lytegem by Lightolier (where my dad worked). This lamp was designed back in '65 and was made available in a commemorative edition. I nabbed two of them [black and persimmon].

This lamp is in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in NY.

web cam that's hardly ever used

sushi mouse pad... that's actually from Japan. Mel's mom got it for me on a recent trip.

yes, it's a laser mouse that should not need a pad... but I like my sushi mouse pad. plus, if I don't use a mouse pad, I get schmutz all over my desk where I use the mouse.

I made my own lightbox and used my kitchen as a studio for all the still shots. I'll have to post a shot of what it looked like.

Got this new wide screen display a few weeks ago. It inspired me to clean up my desk and get it more organized. (quite a feat for me if you'd understand how un-organized I truly am)

I'm having some issues with the notes on this... seems to be limiting me to a certain amount of text. Is this new, or have I never noticed it before? The note on the lamp did not have enough room to let me add a link for more details on the lamp, so here it is.
