Unknown Journey
Another shot from my first trip down here in October. Ironically, i didn't think I got anything from here the first time, but went back through these after 4 months and there are several I am happy with.
The shoot from a few weeks ago, the jury is still out on those. At least I don't have to look at the Alvord shots anymore. Maybe in July I will go through those, after I visit there again.

Almost Paradise

A view unchanged (except for a power line and a 2 lane road) since this was built, most likely 100+ years ago.
When I was growing up (13+ years old), many summers where spent in Flagstaff, Arizona. I grew VERY fond of the vastness of the land. This trip brought back these memories.
The furthest east I had been in Oregon was Mitchell, so this was a welcomed trip. It would be sick to spend a month out here, discovering the true Oregon Territory. Supposedly there is another playa out here. Gotta love when no info is found by google search - that takes the fun out of it.
Wonder how far I could get, holding a sign that read "Alvord Desert or Bust!"? :)

Just got back from a 5 day road trip with Paul JCram and SMiller.
This was taken in eastern Oregon somewhere.

Color Blind
This is a two shot blend, as I have no filters.
I think I may opt for the 3 month pass of flickr pro for $6.. Oh and I got a proper website. Adding stuff daily, lol. And i remembered to switch to ISO 50 for this..
