We were videoing each other so we'd have a better idea of what our swimming technique actually looks like.

I was trying to practice the Total Immersion style, but I wasn't really sure how I was doing as I'd never seen a video of me swimming, or of someone doing the TI technique before.

My legs are clearly a bit wonky at times, and I'm kicking harder than I think the technique calls for, but it's a start. I'm also taking 50% less strokes than I used to, with no loss of speed.

Jude's pretty new to swimming, but he's already up to 70 lengths per session.
