LEGO Indiana Jones (photo)

Yup, looks like a new dark brown color to me.
Good, fixed.
This actually looks pretty cool now.
Lovely!
Eh... could be neat... I guess...
I was fine with the old ones...
If they are making murses, holsters might not be far behind.
It doesn't look too "fixed."
It's Jack Bauer's manpurse!
This bothers me, because it's a cool torso, but will look funny with a yellow head.
this looks bendy, judging from the fact that it's a different shape from in the old pic. It will be useful for every theme.
Yeah. They just don't learn.
I just choose to think of this bit as a light-colored undershirt. :-D
Not sure what you mean. Notice that he's not standing with his legs straight, so of course the printing isn't going to line up.
Now I can sleep at night!
Right, on the CGI, it was lined up with the legs bent.
Nevemind. I misunderstood.
But it'll still look screwy when the legs are moved...
I claim this notespace for the Colbert Nation, that they may abound in prosperity and truthiness.
And this bit goes to King George III.
And we all know what they say about assumptions...
But yeah, a bendy whip would be cool.
This is so not-Lego; and that's cool.
Grr... The bag messes up the arm movement.
Psh... I noticed it first...

I just hope it's solid on the back--ie, not just a front and sides...
HA!
Legs are bent, and it looks good to me.
Un-ha!
New fedora=must use for my sig-fig.
That's what she said!
The Jlugers will have their fun with this
Heh. Good one.
All hail Colbert!

Let the noting commence!

And just to be absolutely clear, this is from the upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones sets (January 2008) -- not a creation by me. ;-)

One would be grateful to have a minifig made after him, but two for two separate themes - Ford is loved.

I just realized that the torso could be used for a Malcolm Reynolds fig. Maybe even the belt too.

Did anyone not see this? I just found it.

Four playsets based on the classic trilogy are slated to launch in January 2008. Three sets based on iconic scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark include: Temple Escape ($49.99 USD) which brings the legendary rolling boulder scene to life in LEGO form as Indy faces spiders and poisoned darts in his search for the Golden Idol of Fertility. With Race for the Stolen Treasure ($29.99 USD), kids build two desert vehicles and recreate Indy’s truck-hopping fight to save the treasure. Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb ($19.99 USD) recreates the eye-popping suspense of Indy rescuing Marion from slithering snakes in an Egyptian tomb. And based on Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade action, Motorcycle Chase ($9.99 USD) depicts the scene where Indy and his father escape with the map to the hidden temple.

From here.

I don't know what to think about the increasing mass of movie-themed LEGO. What's wrong with LEGO's own Indiana Jones - Johhny Thunder from the "Lego Adventurers" series?

have you built any of the sets yet? I've built temple escape and photographed it. Does the bag work better under his left arm or right? Under the right arm, he'll always have the arm up with the whip, no need to worry the bag.
