I was going for more of a chibi/SD look. Besides, the 1 x 1 brick with studs on all sides underneath is black (so that the cockpit won't have a white stud showing).
Anyone else notice how I carefully aligned the word LEGO on the studs? I just remembered I'd done that when I made the big size my desktop. I'm such a geek...
