Found: Male Yellow Lab possibly named Sampson

UPDATE: Sampson's owner has been found.

This Yellow Lab scratched at our front door to get in on Monday, November 3rd, 2008.

Location: North Seattle (Lake City)

* No longer at registered address.

No luck so far, unfortunately. Given the circumstances, we're beginning to strongly suspect that he was abandoned.

Turns out Sampson is an alpha like Pugsly, and it's been pretty rough keeping them separated. It was a very difficult decision, but we gave him up to the shelter earlier today. :-(

^ Oh, definitely. He's so well-trained, appears to be very healthy, loves everybody (except snarling little pugs), and his tireless energy.

As confident as I am that Sampson will be adopted very quickly (assuming his owner doesn't turn up), it just makes me sad to think about all those Rottweilers and American Staffordshire Bull Terriers (aka Pit Bulls) pining for good homes in the shelter.
