Nice looking Spawn (and it has more articulation than most McFarlane figures).

I like the chains and use of Bane head, nice work.

I was very pleasantly surprised to see my name in a blog when i didn't do anything. Did i say before that it's a shame the nightwing torso doesn't come with red instead of blue? because that would be the finisher.

I think you need to make the rest of the mcfarlane spawns, you know, medievel spawn, air combat spawn.... mexican wrestler spawn

Great fig! I love the use of the belt and the bane head!

  11. thwaak (62 months ago | reply)

Sweet. Where is that belt piece from?

  12. Dunechaser (62 months ago | reply)

    Thanks, everyone!

The belt is the black "hips" piece from Minifig Hips and Legs Assembly with Dangling Charms Pattern (from 7093 Skeleton Tower). :-D

I don't know Spawn all that well (only seen the movie and Soul Calibur 2 for Xbox), but would the addition of the new Speed Racer Torso work well, too?

In any event, I think I'll totally steal this idea and put him in my display this weekend... ;)

  14. Dunechaser (62 months ago | reply)

@Pepa: Spawn seems to have big white stripes on his torso, which is why a white and black version of Nightwing's torso would've been perfect, as do'over says. And yes, please feel free to build and use one yourself (no credit necesssary). :-)

Excellent Spawn! Cool 'custom' minifigs can be made with official LEGO, keep proving that! ;)

Hi there: I´m writing an article for Hispabrick Magazine (www.hispabrick magazine.com) about Lego Superheroes, and I would like to add your photo, is it ok for you?
    Thanks in advance.

I'd be honored to be included in Hispabrick Magazine. (And sorry for the belated response.)

awesome! i love spawn, what set is the head from? i totally need to build this :D

  31. Dunechaser (36 months ago | reply)

Thanks! It's Bane from one of the Batman sets, but I think I got it on Bricklink, so I'm not sure what set he's from.

  32. PUGATRON [deleted] (36 months ago | reply)

really? i forgot about bane... because it looks so much like spawn, thats why i thought it was custom at first because why would lego make one of the most violent superheroes a toy? XD but now i totally have to buy that head!
