• tsk tsk tsk....not a huge fan of the fake gunz! - Killernoob
  • What do you mean by "Fake"? - corran101
  • I think he means not a real Lego piece. If so, I have to disagree. Brickarms and Brick Forge parts are quickly being adopted by most everybody. - Captain Redstorm
  • Who the hell cares it's win on a plate and everyone knows it. :D - Lord T
  • I think that's fake as in not modelled after something real. - E of Alshire
  • agreed - corran101
  • i agree on what he saying about 'fave', its like using megablock pieces with legos, its just not right... thats why I make guns, not buy brickarms, but no offense to them, they're make good money off that, and it is a wonderful idea, but i dont use them. - lego_dude
  • Mike Rutherford has forever changed my opinion on purism... as in now I'm a purist. Don't get me wrong, I think the weapons look great, But I probably wont use them. - Scøtty
  • MY personal feeling is that brickarms are legit; They are higher quality than megabloks, and modeled after Lego in order to have a similar feel in aesthetics. Mostly, they just fill a gap that brick built guns can't, and I am okay with using them for that reason. - [Carter]
  • k, lol, you have a point there dunechaser, i agree with you know, lol, and carter, your right too. We should all thank brickarms though, they are sick little guns that are compatible with Legos, i see where you guys are coming from - lego_dude
  • Also, Brickarms at least is equal to LEGO in quality, whereas MEGAblocks are observably inferior. - E of Alshire
  • "win on a plate." can i use that? - DRK-1
  • You don't have to ask. - Lord T
  • new mars sets visor? - D_Y_A_M_I
  • Yup.
  • must get some then. - D_Y_A_M_I
  • That looks like Mastercheif from Halo - rogerscenter_internet
  • d'ya think?!? - Lord T
  • Indeed. If you look at the tags, that's kinda the point. ;-)

(And covering up everybody else's notes is considered rude, so I made yours smaller.)
  • This is looking kinda messy... - Karrth Sair
  • Also, BrickArms are designed to complement Lego, whereas MegaBloks are low-grade copies designed to compete with Lego. - legözfreak
  • Well, It was a prototype at the time, keep that in mind. - ~~~---

    Super Necro-post resurrection...

Sorry, just wanted to make an amusing observation. I know this is older, and BA has come a long way, but it's amusing to see how many of these ex-purists embrace BA, BF, and all the others now in their MOCs. I love checking stuff like this out, so I went to a few of these posters current feed, and sure enough, most of them have third-party accessories all over the place. Not a bad thing, I say, I love the customization available through the accessories. I just thought it was amusing.
