Quetzalcoatl

Quetzalcoatl, the most important god in Aztec mythology. God of light, god of the morning star, the snake of many feathers.

According to legend, Quetzalcoatl was also a white bearded man with golden hair. Much like an Spanish Conquistador...
So, as all of these are great, this one seems a little bit of a let down, and lacking. I also expected more scales and feathers on the body.
I'm from Mexico, so I think should know.

Hmmm... That may be true, but I based several aspects of this minifig on an image hosted by the Museo del Templo Mayor in Mexico City. This page also has an interesting discussion of Quetzalcoatl's beard.

It might be fun to make a white, bearded version of Quetzalcoatl as well (perhaps using one of the new "flesh-toned" minifig heads), so I appreciate the idea! :-)
