Two Sides

Two Sides by duncmc.
Remains of the octagonal chapterhouse at Thornton Abbey in Lincolnshire. This part of the ruins dates from the late 13th Century.

Love the way the foundations of the buttresses radiate away from the walls themselves - the wide angle really suits it. Your processing is, as usual, spot on as well. Do these wispy skies just follow you around or what? :)

Lovely shot. The only problem is that interpretive panel - I know they're hugely useful when you're there but they do tend to get in the way of the shot!
