From Russia With Love

One of my favourites in this series from Ullswater. I don’t know why but this one reminds me of Russia, not that I have ever been there. [Blogged]

That is very nice. Looks better larger, it would make a great canvas.

Maybe go for a slightly tighter crop at the top - I don't think the grey sky adds anything and wouldn't be missed.

I go up to the lakes two or three times a year and I've still not had a surface as flat as this.

as KG says, much better large, showing the subtle colours and hidden detail around the cottage, the wisps of mist add an alluring whimsical mystery to the scene... maybe it is the cold colours and hint of revolution in the air thats says Russia, or was it Ivan the Terrible disappearing down the lake... anyway, I like it...
