154/365

154/365 by Dumbfunk.
One hundred and fifty four // June 3
• Millstones Edge, UK
• After an evening of good beers, great tapas and ropey nightclubs my local guide Carl took me for a cure-all fried breakfast and then we walked for an hour or two over the peak district national park. Generally I have to admit to being more of an indoors type but the older I get the more I seem to appreciate this stuff and walking the long way around the rock climbers practicing on the edge here fulfilled at least 3 months of outdoorness. Good things.

Thanks everyone.

@Ron, I thought of you as we were watching all the climbers struggle up the edge. Carl used to climb here too - wouldn't surprise if you'd run into each other at some point!

@Giraffe: Really? I had no idea I was on your manor! I'll be sure to properly abuse your hospitality next time ;)

Was there a bar every mile or so?

Hiked is entirely the wrong word - I just strolled around in a circle for a while. Sadly, due to wearing thin soled Diesel trainers rather than rufty tufty boots today I feel like the bottom of my feet have been poked with sticks.

Anything is possible Ronet - I'll be the one asleep by the track waiting for the air ambulance to arrive.
