San Jorge de Gaudí

This sculpture is on top of the main entrance to "El Palacio de los Botines" in León, Spain. This building is one of the few Gaudí works outside Cataluña. Viewed Large the sculpture seems to get life.

I think it's a good shot. I think the composition and crop and everything are fine. Maybe just more of a shallow focus so there's something that draws the eye in?

I love this shot. Sometimes the rating groups can be a bit harsh (as I have found with certain shots I loved that were not well recieved) and hard on the ego. They seem to want perfection! The subject is wonderful - very interesting. I don't know who Gaudi is but I really think I will spend some time looking up more of his stuff.....
