BTW ... 400 ISO at 1600..? My setting tops out at ISO 800... do you mean 400 at 100? is this one of your 'stickers' on the barcode

Jannx, the XA4 reads DX but also has a manual ISO setting that goes to 1600. I put masking tape over the DX codes to it picks up on the manual setting. It took me a few rolls to figure out that the DX was kicking in even though I had the switch set to the speed I wanted. This roll was cheap Life Brand ISO 400 film with the XA4 set to 1600. It works pretty well.
