Restaurant Gordon Ramsay: 8th April 2008

Having already had a rather heavy breakfast that morning (kinda stupid in hind sight), Bunny and I decided to just go for the ala carte menu at Royal Hospital Road. This is Gordon Ramsay's flagship restaurant, and apparently when he IS in London, he's either in this kitchen or the one at Claridges. I know the food that comes out of the kitchen doesn't really depend on the celebrity chef physically being in the kitchen as much as it does on the restaurant having a kitchen that runs very smoothly as a great team, but it's a fun thought all the same.

Ramsay is one of the three chefs in the UK whose restaurant has been awarded three Michelin stars. This restaurant in Chelsea was awarded its three stars in 2001. He was also appointed OBE in 2006 "for services to the hospitality industry".
