Sitting on the long bench seat affords the best view out the wall of windows. The little boxes on the wall all have lights in them.

Japanese inspiration
This end of the living room was very Japanese inspired. The Buddha was fantastically calming and the bamboo planted outside was gorgeous.

Living room
Tons of light during the day. The cement floor was colored when it was wet (so no painting!) and it's heated. Lovely.
